Will you be live on Facebook and Instagram, but will not receive the support you want? This is a common problem for bloggers and online entrepreneurs who are looking for the power of live social media for additional publicity and engagement, but not quite what they want.
Here are some great ways to get more people to click on your live videos and take part in the live feed that you're working hard on.
1. Announce it in advance
If you go live anytime you want, it might suit you, but think about the timetables and schedules of your audience. You should announce that you're going live before you actually do it, especially if you're going to go live with something important or exciting that people really need to engage with.
Rather than notifying people 10 minutes before the scheduled start, tell them the day before (or even the week before, depending on the importance of your video content). This gives enough time for people interested in the video to make plans and reorganize everything that may prevent you from missing your live video.
2. Choose a good time
Do not choose a time when most people are likely to be busy or unable to see you. If your target group is made up of people who work from 9am to 5am, you should not go live at 10am. Clock in the morning and expect it to be a success.
You should either go live between 8am and 9pm when people are likely to go to work, during lunch, when people relax and surf the social media, or after work, when people are more likely to be available are to watch your video.
3. Give your audience a reason to participate
Do you ask your audience for their opinions and live updates during your live video? Do you take part in a raffle for each person? Do you have something to announce that your audience would like to discover and join?
If you do not give other users a good reason to join your live video stream and watch the content you create, do not be surprised if your audience is not very large. You should announce the general content of your live video if you tell your followers that you are going live, but do not betray too much, otherwise nobody will watch!
